While we were in BC, we rented a house on the west coast of the island not too far from Tofino. We spent two days on a beautiful beach called Long Beach, which is aptly named. The first day it was quite windy (actually we kind of got sandblasted), so we spent most of the day in the shelter of the logs
, just relaxing in the sun...did however, learn that the lens on a camera does not like beach sand (always wanted a new one anyway...haha). The second day wasn't so windy so we moved onto the beach and played soccer and the kids swam in the water and played in the waves. Just the two most beautiful days and now I have put my toes in both the Pacific and the Atlantic (and both were just a little too cold for me).
